Whether you’re adventurous by nature, or you prefer to ‘play it safe’, there is an extensive range of experiences available that will offer you unforgettable holidays. You can choose to explore the region in your own car, or you can opt from a selection of travel services.

Below are some of the highlights:

The world-renowned Kruger National Park is a stone’s throw away from your villa. Elephants, lions, leopards, hyenas, hippos and birds of prey; you can see it all and more in this park. There is an excellent choice of rest camps available where you can enjoy lunch or dinner, do groceries and fuel up the car.

Blyde River Canyon

Are you a nature lover? This canyon is a must-see. Make sure you choose a clear day, and you will see the most incredible landscape of mountains, waterfalls, and potholes unfold before your eyes. We would highly recommend lunch at Harry’s Pancakes in Graskop.

Talking about natural beauty: Magoebaskloof is not to be missed. The route is breathtakingly beautiful and will take you along winding mountainous roads and incredible sights and attractions. Pay a visit to the Debengeni Waterfalls or visit the quaint little town of Haenertsburg where you can get the most delicious coffee.

A great activity is ziplining in the Magoebaskloof (Canopy Tour). During this tour, you’ll zipline over rivers, past waterfalls and treetops. An absolute must! Glide from platform to platform through the spectacular nature. The platforms have been specially designed and offer views over the beautiful Groot Letaba River. This activity is fun to do with kids.

Route 71

The route from Phalaborwa to Polokwane, along the R71, has fantastic attractions. You will be able to see an ancient Baobab tree, visit the embroidery works of Kaross, go hiking in the Cloud Mountains and enjoy a boat trip and a lovely lunch in Letsitele. A great trip for the whole family.
